Το DeckLink IP HD διαθέτει 3 κανάλια λήψης βίντεο και 3 κανάλια αναπαραγωγής βίντεο σε συστήματα εκπομπής IP 2110 μέσω μιας σύνδεσης Ethernet οπτικών ινών με βάση SFP.
Έχει σχεδιαστεί για να λειτουργεί με βίντεο υψηλής ποιότητας με υποστήριξη για λήψη και αναπαραγωγή σε δημοφιλείς μορφές βίντεο όπως Apple ProRes, DNxHD ή ακόμα και 10-bit ασυμπίεστα. Οι συνδέσεις IP της DeckLink είναι πολλαπλών ρυθμών, επομένως υποστηρίζουν πρότυπα βίντεο 525i, 625i, 720p, 1080i και 1080p έως και 1080p60.
